This mutation is, as its name suggests, recessive. She appeared in Australia around 1968 in the the_ breeding of Mr Fisk in Sydney, where its former name Australian yellow (australian yellow). This color is not popular in Europe, it is quite rare elsewhere but happens to find , in expansion in France. We can combine with the orange mask, paleheaded, aqua, turquoise or *blue *, dark factor and opaline although with the latter, it is not always clear or rarely. It also combines with the dominant pied, the interest is to get a bird with uniform color, combination is incorrectly called DEC (yellow with black eyes) because DEC exists among the species with eye ring as a own mutation and not a combination.
This mutation affects the partial disappearance of the eumelanin and a random distribution of affected feathers. But unlike the dominant pied, the color is more stable and it is between 80-90% of eumelanin which disappears giving a bright yellow bird with green spots disseminated. It happens that some birds have more green. The mask is usually smaller than a classical bird. The flight feathers are all still yellowish-white, so if you have a doubt, a black flight feather indicates that the bird is pied dominant. The legs are gray, black eyes. The rump is for its affected, it is often greenish or yellow or sometimes blue color, but not the same blue as the normal green.
