Breeding tips
The problem of this mutation that it is so rare, no birds are avaible in market actually,I try to breed with birds I have.
Females being infertile, they can be used for substitute parents. .
The best is to pair dilute cock with normal colors (opaline, green, turquoise, aqua ...) to make many split and to make pairs of split x split to hope and have male dilute.
This allows at the same time to bring new blood to reduce inbreeding.
But pairs split x split give a lot of possible split, that it is interesting to pair with certain split or make possible split x possible split.
It is through this that the breeder, which my birds come from,has successed to breed few dilute, but certainly because of inbreeding, not a lot stayed in life.
My objectives in *dilute*
To make maximum of split with dilute cock that to breed between themselves hoping to not loose the mutation.
Having overage of male split dilute, I'm testing femeales possible split that I have acquired.
To begin at combine in "blue", results is wonderfull .
